Artist Statement
I don’t document the world as it is—I create my own. Using a variety of materials and an ever-expanding, experimental approach, I construct imagined landscapes by hand, exploring new techniques and ideas along the way. These crafted environments are then photographed, transforming them into portals to alternate realities that invite exploration and wonder.
For me, art is about breaking free from the constraints of everyday life. The routines and predictability of the world can feel limiting, so I turn to the act of creation as a way to dive into the intangible—dreams, emotions, and subconscious narratives that often remain hidden yet shape our experiences.
Though these imagined spaces may seem distant from reality, they are rooted in universal feelings: curiosity, awe, and the desire to look beyond the surface. Through my work, I hope to spark a sense of wonder in others, encouraging reflection on their inner landscapes and challenging them to question what lies beyond the visible.
